Longest Bridal Train and Other Weird Guinness World Records [SLIDESHOW]

Romania has displaced the Netherlands to secure the honour of holding the Guinness World Record for the longest bridal train.

The 3,000-metre-long train was so long that 17-year-old Ema Dumitrescu stunned onlookers by modelling it from a hot air balloon in Bucharest.

While breaking a Guinness World Record often entails achieving a great feat or displaying tremendous athleticism, people occasionally gain an entry in the book in less strenuous ways.

The 3,000 metre-long Romanian wedding dress train broke previous record of 2,488 metres, created by Dutch designer. It is made of 4,700 metres of material using 1,857 needles and took 100 days to complete
