Gilbert was doing her Paso Doble performance with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy when she hit her head. She complained about dizziness after the bump.

"As a result of hitting her head during the dance [Monday], Melissa has a mild concussion and whiplash," her rep told CNN. "She is at home, resting comfortably and looking forward to her next dance."

Chmerkovskiy also fell during the routine, but the two received a 22 out of a possible 30 from the judges. Judge Len Goodman blamed the fall on a slippery floor.

Gilbert isn't the first to be injured on the show. Last year, Kym Johnson was injured during rehearsal with partner Hines Ward.
