FHM 100 Sexiest Women of the Year: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Looks to Defend Crown [SLIDESHOW]

When FHM voted British model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as the Sexiest Woman of 2011, she did not know her life was about to change. She was immediately cast in "Transformers 3" and bagged promotional campaigns for Buberry and M&S.

American singers Katy Perry and Rihanna came second and third, followed by actresses Megan Fox and Olivia Wilde in the top five.

Now... voting for the 2012 list closed at the end of March and there is every chance the British lass who won last year's crown will successfully defend her title.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: A Victoria's Secret model is always going to be someone exceptionally stunning and Huntington-Whiteley is no different. She hails from Devon and apart from her delicious debut in "Transformers 3", has modelled for Abercrombie & Fitch, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, DKNY and Top Shop. She has also been on the cover of Vogue.

Katy Perry: Perry shot into fame with a best-selling debut single "I Kissed a Girl" and, true to her word, has always been outspoken about her beauty.

"I've got boobs and I'm not going to chop them off, so I guess people will always talk about them," the fiery singer once said. In addition, the "Smurfs" actress is known for her bold hairstyles - switching with élan from blue to red and pink.

Rihanna: An unpredictable and difficult to describe celebrity, did you know she was born in Barbados and the country hosts a national holiday in her name? Moreover, Rihanna apparently feels insecure about her body and feels that exposing those perceived deficiencies is the way to go! The singer has often posted nude photographs of herself on Twitter.

Megan Fox: A naturally curvy Southern belle, Fox was easily one of the sexiest woman of 2011 and nothing much has changed since then... neither her smoking hot beauty nor her honesty

"I have the libido of a 15-year-old boy - my sex drive is so high," Megan once said to FHM.

Olivia Wilde: American-born Irish model and actress Olivia Wilde has had a very selective career to date. The star of "Burt Wonderstone", "Tron: Legacy" and "Cowboys & Aliens" has been on the cover of several high-profile glamour magazines, including FHM.

"I'm a natural blonde, but I feel like a brunette. I feel like people treat me now how I should be treated," Olivia said, after changing her hair colour.
