Australian actor John Travolta was sued by an unidentified masseur for $2 million who claimed that he was sexually assaulted by the actor.
The masseur referred to as John Doe said that the Hollywood actor sexually assaulted him inside a room at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles last January.
The masseur claims that John Travolta rubbed his leg, touched his genitals and tried to initiate at least one sex act inside a private bungalow at the exclusive hotel.
The actor's spokesman denied the allegations and said that the above claims are baseless lie.
The masseur's lawyer, Okorie Okorocha, told Reuters that a victim of a sexual assault like his client can file anonymously if he fears extreme embarrassment will happen if his identity is known. This is guaranteed under California law.

The masseur submitted a detailed testament about the incident, saying the massage was arranged by an anonymous phone caller who met the masseur at a street side location, picked him up and drove him to the hotel where he was to be paid $200 per hour.
The civil suit claims assault, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and the plaintiff is seeking a jury trial, according to the filing.
Travolta's spokesman described the lawsuit as "a complete fiction and fabrication. None of the events claimed in the suit ever occurred."

The actor has been nominated for two Academy Awards and has been married to wife Kelly Preston since 1991.
