Kardashians, John Mayer And Other Celebrities Who Talk Too Much [PHOTOS]

It's not easy being famous and having the media track your every move and blow up your every word, but some celebrities seem to welcome trouble with open arms. They just won't stop talking about bizarre aspects of their personal and professional lives and often offer contradictory explanations for their strange behavior. Some of these folks should take a cue from their more private peers and keep it all on the DL -- or even better, learn how to stay out of trouble in the first place.

Here are just a few celebrities who should stop talking so much (and maybe even deactivate their personal websites and Twitter accounts).

Watching pint-size, pickle juice-drinking Snooki, the breakout star on MTV's hit reality show “Jersey Shore,” is bad enough, but we also get to see her on talk shows and even at book signings (yes, she’s a published author). It’s only going to get worse if her new show works out. Snooki and fellow “Jersey Shore” cast member Jennifer "JWoWW” Farley will star on MTV’s “Snooki & JWoWW,” which premieres on Thursday. Snooki promised she won’t go nuts in the new program.

"I was honestly very scared to film it because the first trimester you're either throwing up, you're hugging the toilet, you're very tired, [or] you're grumpy, and I didn't want that to ruin our show," Snooki told MTV. "But I didn't really get any of those symptoms. I was just really tired, but I'm always tired, so it didn't really affect anything. I was a little grumpy."

Wait, throwing up and hugging the toilet? Does that NOT happen on “Jersey Shore?”

Barbados-born R&B singer Rihanna and American R&B singer Chris Brown’s abusive relationship became famous when Brown got into an argument with Rihanna while driving and punched her to the point where she had extensive facial injuries and needed hopitalization, a crime to which Brown eventually pleaded guilty to felony assault. Since then, their on-again, off-again drama has been played like a broken record. We’re tired of this Barbados beauty justifying why she has to keep her abusive ex-boyfriend around (see: “Birthday Cake” song). Keep him hanging around if you must for the purposes of selling records, but don’t try to convince us of your justifications. A simple “No comment” will suffice.

Okay, so Kim Kardashian was married for 72 days and did a sex tape and she and her sisters and mother are all famous for being famous anyway, blah blah blah. Who cares? We’ve seen similar behavior from real actors, politicians, etc. -- it’s nothing new. And why must any of these people appear on talk shows, give interviews and do “Dancing With the Stars?” Don’t we get enough of them on their hit reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and its myriad mutations?

The answer: yes. Stick to reality television, fame whores. Trust us, it’s more than enough.

We knew something was off when, in a 2010 Rolling Stone interview, seven-time Grammy winning singer-songwriter-guitarist John Mayer suggested that recently-disgraced golfer Tiger Woods should follow his example, describing how he “masturbated myself out of serious problems in my life.” It got even worse in a later interview with Playboy. Mayer referred to his ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson as “sexual napalm,” said his manhood was “sort of like a white supremacist,” and admitted that his biggest dream was to write pornography, according to a Huffington Post recounting of his more bizarre statements. More recently, Mayer told talk show host Jimmy Fallon that he tried to seduce a woman by singing a page of the popular erotic novel “Fifty Shades of Grey” to her. Mayer said she just laughed in his face. Maybe it’s time to take the hint? Dear John: Please stop talking and just make music.

Trouble seems to follow Emmy and Golden Globe winning TV and film star Alec Baldwin wherever he goes. His latest escapade: Allegedly assaulting a photographer from the New York Daily News. Another NYDN photographer posted photographic evidence of the incident, which shows Baldwin looking pretty out of control. Of course, Baldwin tweeted (and tweeted) about the scuffle: “A ‘photographer’ almost hit me in the face with his camera this morning. #allpaparazzishouldbewaterboarded.”

Photographers can get out of hand, but here’s a note to Baldwin’s lovely fiancée, Hilaria Thomas: Beware of a man who tweets so often. Just look at Ashton and Demi.

Keeping up with sit-com and film star Charlie Sheen’s latest developments is just downright confusing. He recently spoke to Playboy magazine about the public breakdown that caused him to walk away from what was at the time the highest paying acting gig on TV.

"I don't know what happened," he told Playboy, E! reported. "I think I cracked." You think?

The man goes from out of control to seemingly sane in a matter of hours. Then it all unravels again, like when he took public aim at all things “Two and a Half Men,” his old show and former workplace. Then he talks publicly about how hot his ex-wife Denise Richards is – never mind their very messy (and very public) divorce.

Speaking of Richards…

In her petition for divorce, Richards, a sultry film actress, complained that Sheen made threats to kill and use violence against her. She said she feared for her safety and the safety of their two children. They later had a war of words when Richards wanted to have their daughters appear on her now-defunct reality TV show “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated” (Sheen publicly opposed it). Now it seems that the two are close again, at least for now.

“He and I are like best friends now," Richards told Rolling Stone. Sheen graces the cover of the magazine's latest issue. "Confidants. He tells me everything." No, Denise – you tell us everything. And we don’t want to hear it.
