A police manhunt is under way in the Devon town of Exmouth after the body of a woman was found. It is being treated as a murder investigation.

Officers have released a picture of a man called Andrew Cane who they want to question in connection with the death.

Cane, 30, lives locally and is described as being 6'2'', clean shaven, and with short brown hair. He is understood to drive a blue Honda Civic, with the licence plate X178 XFJ.

Police believe he could be anywhere in the country.

If anyone has any information on Cane's whereabouts, they are asked to contact police immediately on 999, quoting reference "0695 of 1107012".
