Robert Pattinson 'Leaves LA Home' Despite Kristen Stewart's Apology for Cheating [SLIDESHOW]

Twilight actor Robert Pattinson has reportedly moved out of the Los Angeles home he shared with co-star Kristen Stewart, following revelations that she had an affair with director Rupert Sanders.

According to People magazine, Pattinson packed his bags and moved to a secluded location after his girlfriend's admission of infidelity provoked an angry confrontation, which reduced Stewart to tears.

The story was also covered by entertainment website Hollywood Life, which quotes an anonymous source as saying that "Rob's devastation over the news has turned to anger, frustration and embarrassment because the entire world knows what happened to him. He doesn't want to deal with it at all in public, so he is staying inside and only talking to a select amount of people.

"It's a complete mess right now with Rob and Kristen."

It is reported that Stewart hid her relationship with Sanders from Pattinson until photos emerged on 17 July, showing her kissing the London-born director. Some insiders even claim Pattinson was preparing to propose to his girlfriend of four years before the images were published.

On 23 July, the pair appeared together at America's Teen Choice Awards, together with co-star Taylor Lautner, where they accepted the Ultimate Choice award for the Twilight Saga.

Following the revelations of her affair, Stewart went public to say that Pattinson is the man she "loves and respects the most", and it is thought she will write a letter of apology to Sanders' wife, 33-year-old British model Liberty Ross.

In a recent interview with the Italian edition of Vanity Fair, Pattinson said: "There's a thing I've never got. That is, why do people cheat? I can understand the impulse, but not how you can keep two relationships going at the same time for long.

"I'm not the casual-affair kind of guy. If I choose to be with someone, it's because I really want it. When I have a relationship, I'm 100 percent into it."

Meanwhile an embarrassed Kristen is trying her best to get Pattinson to forgive her. She told in public that Pattinson is someone she "loves and respects the most."
