The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI: DJI) gained another 53.51 points, or 0.40 percent, on Friday to close at 13,593.37, the highest level in nearly five years. Recent aggressive efforts in the U.S. and euro zone have cheered investors, but many uncertainties remain. Here are four factors that could make -- or break -- the Dow's continued ascent.
The top after-market NYSE gainers Thursday were Fusion-IO, Bally Technologies, ExactTarget, Christopher & Banks and Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. The top after-market NYSE losers were Roundy's Inc, Scotts Miracle-Gro, EXCO Resources, Lions Gate Entertainment Corp and Delek US Holdings Inc.
Gainers
Fusion-IO Inc. (FIO) shares rallied 26.07 percent to $26.50 in the post-market trading. The company reported the fourth quarter adjusted net profit of $9.85 million or $0.09 per share, down from $13.22 million or $0.15 per share in the same quarter last year but topped the analysts' estimate of $0.03 per share. The company also expects the fiscal 2013 revenue growth to be in the range of 45 to 50 percent.
Bally Technologies Inc. (BYI) shares climbed 9.55 percent to $46.00 in the post-market trading. Its fourth quarter net profit rose to $26.5 million or $0.61 per share from $25.5 million or $0.51 per share in the same period last year. The company expects that its fiscal 2013 net profit will be in a range of $2.95 to $3.30 per share, compared to the Reuters' estimate of $2.44 per share.
ExactTarget Inc. (ET) shares climbed 8.27 percent to $24.75 in the post-market trading. Its second quarter net loss narrowed down to $2.60 million or $0.04 per share from $3.71 million or $0.43 per share in the same period last year. Revenue rose to $69.32 million from $48.84 million last year and also topped the Reuters' estimate of $65.86 million.

Christopher & Banks Corp. (CBK) shares surged 7.14 percent to $2.48 in the post-market trading. The company stock plunged more than 5 percent in regular trading.
Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. (TRQ) shares gained 4.89 percent to $9.43 in the post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $7.60, a 52-week high of $23.08 and $6.67 billion in market capitalization.
Losers
Roundy's Inc. (RNDY) shares slumped 11.73 percent to $9.03 in the post-market trading. The company reported the second quarter net profit of $0.42 per share, down from $0.58 per share in the same period last year and also fell short of the analysts' estimate of $0.43 per share.
Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. (SMG) shares plunged 6.86 percent to $38.55 in the post-market trading. The company reported the third quarter adjusted net profit of $99.4 million or $1.60 per share, down from $126.7 million or $1.91 per share in the same period last year and also widely missed the analysts' estimate of $1.90 per share.
EXCO Resources Inc. (XCO) shares plunged 4.69 percent to $7.32 in the post-market trading. The company stock surged nearly 5 percent in regular trading.
Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (LGF) shares plunged 3.17 percent to $12.83 in the post-market trading. The company swung to first quarter net loss of $44.2 million or $0.33 per share compared to the net income of $10.3 million or $0.08 per share in the same period last year.
Delek US Holdings Inc. (DK) shares fell 3.07 percent to $25.25 in the post-market trading. The company stock climbed nearly 9 percent in regular trading.
