After being together for quite some time now, Justin proposed to Jennifer on his 41st birthday celebration. Jen gave him the best birthday gift he could ever get that night by saying "Yes" to his proposal.

"Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage," Theroux's representative told People magazine.

Jen and Justin who met on the set of their movie "Wanderlust" were first seen together in May 2011. Later on Jennifer placed her Beverly Hills mansion in the market for $38 million and just last January of this year, the two bought a palatial L.A. Bel-Air home which costs $22 million.

While the actress is known to be "unlucky" in love, this will be Theroux first marriage. Before dating the "Friends" actress, he was in a long term relationship with costume designer Heidi Bivens. He then reportedly broke up with her and moved on to Aniston.

The engagement didn't come off as a surprise since Jenifer Aniston has publicly admitted of how smitten she is with Theroux. On one of her interviews, she gushed about Justin and said he was "cute" and a "great actor."

Jennifer and Justin's engagement came five months after Angelina and Brad announced theirs. Jolie and Pitt were speculated to have married over the weekend when they threw a party in their chateau in France. Rumors however were proved to be false.
