Vanessa Bryant Denies Plastic Surgery Because Of Kobe, But Sporting A Dramatically Different Face [PHOTOS]

A rep for Vanessa Bryant denied the wife of Kobe underwent plastic surgery recently, but there is still much speculation as the now brunette bombshell has been seen in recent photos sporting a dramatically different face.

Rumors began when a source told the National Enquirer that 30-year-old Bryant was feeling "insecure" about her looks because of her husband and wanted to "do anything to keep Kobe happy."

However, a rep for Bryant told The Daily Mail the allegations that she went under the knife for Kobe are "100 percent not true" and "ridiculous."

Despite the denial from her rep, many noticed that she was sporting a face unlike the Vanessa Bryant everyone was familiar with during the London Games this year. Photos show the wife of the basketball star with darkened hair, a lighter skin tone, plumper lips, higher arched brow and slimmer nose posing with husband, Kobe.

Dr. Anthony Youn, a surgeon who did not work with Bryant nor is he familiar with her medical history, told the Enquirer that she "appears to have undergone some plastic surgery. Her nose is thin with what appears to be scars at the base of each nostril. In some people, this is a telltale sign of a nose job." Youn added that her plumped-up lips appear to be this way "possibly from an injectable filler like Juvaderm."

"The sad thing is that Vanessa is wrecking her natural beauty," the source told the Enquirer. "She started freaking out over a few crow's feet, and the next thing you know she was getting a full facial makeover... she is extremely insecure. "

MTV News agreed with the original source of the information, adding that Bryant is "becoming Michael Jackson" and even going as far as making a comparison chart with her and the late pop star.

"Women in the spotlight: we'll never understand their pressures. But that doesn't mean we have to understand their willingness to turn their faces into shiny, ductless lumps of clay able to be re-molded every 10 years or so," MTV wrote. "Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa seems to be the latest to succumb to the temptations of botox and plastic surgery...We don't know why these lovely ladies do that. The inevitable conclusion is that they'll come out on the other end of the knife either looking like a cat or like Michael Jackson."

Most recently, Bryant was lambasted for comments about her Los Angeles Lakers superstar husband, saying that she wouldn't be married to a man who can't win championships.

"I certainly would not want to be married to somebody that can't win championships," she told New York magazine. "If you're sacrificing time away from my family and myself for the benefit of winning championships, then winning a championship should happen every single year."

The dup have had a tumultuous relationship in their 11 years of marriage since last year, when she filed for divorce. However, the Bryants, who have two children together, have been working on their relationship, TMZ reported.
