At a time when the existing iPhone 4S nears its suspension, thanks to the rumors of the arrival of a new iPhone, almost set to make its first appearance potentially in just a few weeks, speculations about how the next iPhone, the iPhone 5, will look like and what it will feature are at their peak.

Many reports came up with a number of leaked iPhone 5 parts from different sources. While majority of them looked quite convincing, there are those who are still doubtful about the legitimacy of these parts, claiming to be that of the new iPhone.

iResQ, a Kansas-based Apple certified repair shop, attempted to establish the fact that the recently leaked parts, believed to be of the next iPhone, could indeed be featured in the upcoming version of Apple's flagship smartphone. The repair shop took the newly leaked headphone jack/docking port assembly and placed it in a rear shell, which is supposed that of the iPhone 5.

As MacRumors noted, both the parts "fit together extremely well, with screw holes and components lining up perfectly."

iResQ explained:

"We were able to fit the docking port and headphone jack assembly that we showed you on Friday into the new iPhone's frame/back casing. The docking port and headphone jack assembly seemed to fit perfectly inside of the frame. One of our technicians was even able to screw the assembly into the pre-aligned screw holes inside of the frame. All of the threading and screw holes lined up perfectly with the screw holes in then docking port/headphone jack assembly."

iResQ mentioned two things that it says are "worth noting":

1. The "iPhone 5"' frame/back casing that we have in house is an incomplete part (it is a shell that should be filled in with more parts). This means that there are some missing plastic gaskets and fittings inside of the back casing that should fill in the tiny gaps between the docking port and the headphone jack in relation to the frame. So the gaps you see here should be filled in with the completely assembled back casing when it is released.

2. From what this looks like, the speaker will fit inside of the new iPhone similar to the iPhone 4 and 4S. Because of this, we expect the new iPhone to have just one speaker like the current models.

Although the parts fit together pretty well, it's still not conclusive evidence of their authenticity as Apple is yet to give any official confirmation. However, the photos do provide the indication that the parts are indeed made to be used together. They also provide us with a better idea of what the highly anticipated smartphone of this year will finally look like.

Meanwhile, the increasing iPhone 5 obsession has led the company to become the most valuable publicly-traded company of all time.

The Cupertino tech giant's stock was trading at an incredible $665.15 Monday. Considering that Apple has 937.41 million shares outstanding, the surge gave it a market cap of $623.5 billion, the highest ever for a publicly-traded company.

Apple is highly expected to unveil its sixth generation iPhone at a special event on Sept. 12. On top of that, the upcoming iPhone model is also expected to get a major design overhaul this time, sporting a larger 4-inch Retina display and a smaller doc connector, replacing the current 30-pin port.

Rumors also suggest that the handset would run on iOS 6, which would be completely scaleable to a larger 640x1136 display. The device is also likely to feature a much-improved processor, 4G LTE technology, Near Field Communication (NFC), 1GB RAM, improved Siri, a liquidmetal casing, an 8 megapixel (or even higher) rear camera, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting and a much-improved battery life.
