Samsung is reportedly working hard on Jelly Bean update for international as well as the US variants of Galaxy S3. The Jelly Bean tests for the global Galaxy S3 (I9300) have received a significant improvement over the last test firmware. Samsung is said to be bringing a slight change over the user interface which is unlike the ICS update for Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note wherein all the features were similar to those of the launched version of operating system.

According to a GSMArena report, the Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S3 is almost ready and will be releasing alongside the Galaxy Note 2 at the Mobile Unpacked event.

Android Central reported that the Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S3 will be rolled out to a number of countries including the UK shortly after the Mobile Unpacked event. The firmware was said to be in its final stages of testing.

As for the firmware update for Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note, the update is believed to be going through intense development and will be released for both devices sometime in Q4.
