Despite her negative reputation for “momaging” the entire the Kardashian clan, Kris Jenner allegedly bashed child pageant mom June Thompson, saying she 'exploits' her seven-year-old daughter Alana.
Kris Jenner, the business-driven matriarch of the Kardashian clan, has received her share of flak from the media over the years for "momaging" her children, especially Kim. Now, according to a source for Radar Online, the 56-year-old recently has had words for another reality TV mom.
According to the report, Jenner is speaking out against June Thompson, the mother of seven-year-old child beauty pageant queen Alana Thompson, the star of TLC's reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."
"To say that Kris is not a fan of 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' is an understatement," said the source. "Kris thinks it's all a ploy to make money, and says she sees through it and thinks it is absolutely disgusting."
According to the source, money grubbing isn't the only problem Jenner has with the Thompsons. "The show has become bigger than 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians,' and Kris is starting to feel threatened by its success," the source said, adding, "She thinks the Thompsons are classless, unlike her family and can't understand why America is so fascinated by them."
If the unverified comments are true, Jenner would hardly be the first person to condemn the Thompsons. After the show's season premiere on Aug. 8, a Forbes reviewer bashed the show, saying that TLC was blatantly trying to "portray Alana's family as a horde of lice-picking, lard-eating, nose-thumbing hooligans south of the Mason-Dixon line."

Jenner specifically takes exception to the way she feels Thompson exploits Alana, by subjecting her to the brutal beauty pageant circuit at such a young age, the source said. "Kris especially has a strong dislike for June, claiming the beauty pageant world is vile and that June is a bad mom for 'exploiting' Alana in that way."
Neither Thompson nor Alana have made a secret of their desire to make money. When she was 6, Alana charmed viewers when she declared on camera the only reason she competes in pageants is to win prize money. A YouTube clip of Alana proudly announcing "A dollar makes me holler, Honey Boo Boo!" when she appeared on "Toddlers & Tiaras" quickly went viral.
Earlier this week, the salary issue came up when the Hollywood Reporter claimed the entire Thompson family of six is only being paid $40,000 for the entire season of the show. Although June Thompson declined to comment on exactly how much money the family is making, she laughed off that figure as low, when questioned about it by TMZ.
Thompson maintains that right now the family is more concerned with forging happy memories than making money. "Our fan base tells us that when they have a bad day they can be able to watch our show and be able to get a good laugh; I honestly laugh at the show too because it is kind of funny, because we know we have fun filming it," she told Ryan Seacrest. "It's just all about having fun making memories."
