If you are planning to buy Apple's much-hyped smartphone iPhone 5 and has been eager to know its pricing and arrival in India, you will have to wait as the Cupertino giant has no immediate plan of bringing it to the country.
However, we are providing you a rough idea of iPhone 5 pricing in India when it hits the local markets.
Apple has announced the prices of unlocked versions of iPhone 5 in US. According to the reports, 16GB variant of iPhone 5 will cost $649, 32GB variant will cost $749 while that of 64GB version is $849. The prices of locked versions are $199 (16GB), $299 (32GB) and $399 (64GB).
When the US rate card for iPhone 5 is being converted into Indian currency at the current market value, the 16GB variant would cost around RS 35,240, the 32GB would cost around Rs 40,670 and the 64GB top-variant would be priced around Rs 46,100. Apple so far has not traded the 64GB variants of its iPhones in Indian markets.

However, when the new iPhone models hits the Indian retail shelves the price tag would be much higher than predicted. Pricedekho.com has projected the price of iPhone 5 at Rs.45, 000.
Meanwhile, the Apple is yet to make any decision on rolling out new iPhone models and its pricing in Indian markets.
Anand Baskaran, Apple India PR Manager, hinted that Indian Apple lovers have to wait for a while before they get their hands on the sixth-generation iPhone.
"We currently have not made any announcement regarding a launch timeframe and pricing in India," Baskaran told IBTimes in an email.
Starting Friday, on Sep 21, the iPhone 5 will be up for grabs in United Stated, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, japan, Singapore and the UK. Later, the new device will be rolled out in several other countries.
According to reports, Apple is expected to make new iPhone 5 available in about 100 markets besides attracting more than 240 service providers by this year end.
Meanwhile, a rampant pre-ordering spree for iPhone 5 forced Apple to rebuff the shipping timeframe as the company found it difficult to ship the device to the customers on the said time.
The pre-orders flooded the Cupertino-based mobile phone maker's official website just hours after the pre-order windows were opened. Earlier, the company said that it would ship the new device within two weeks, but now the expected delivery time has been pushed by a week, thanks to the overwhelming response from the customers.
iPhone 5 key specifications:
Apple iPhone 5 features 4-inch Retina display, 1136-by-640-pixel resolution. The new device comes in three variants, 16GB, 32GB and top-tier 64GB, with no option to expand via external card. And it runs on latest iOS 6 operating system.
The new iPhone boasts of 8-megapixel primary camera and 1.2 megapixel front facing camera. It also supports 4G LTE networks.
