The biggest awards show on television has just recently been concluded. And who among the television's biggest stars rocked the Emmy Awards red carpet?

Hollywood's biggest celebrities on television were dressed for a night of glamour and winners at the recently concluded Emmy Awards 2012. Although there were a few mishaps here and there, a lot of the primetime ladies definitely made their impression on the red carpet.

Spotted trend on the red carpet arrivals were bright colored and ocean toned gowns. German supermodel, Heidi Klum made it to the best dressed list that night. But she also took home the best legs award. In a sexy seafoam Alexander Vauthier gown, the model flaunted her assets. Sofia Vergara also looked stunning in a beaded sea tones Zuhair Muhad gown.

Ginnifer Goodwin was always dressed to impress and this night, she has definitely left her mark in orange. The actress wore an eye-popping orange Monique Lhuillier creation. She completed the look in Rona Pheiffer jewelry and Christian Louboutin heels. Another actress who favored the brights was Claire Danes. The pregnant actress was dressed in a canary yellow Lanvin draped gown which needed no alterations as she admitted.

Zooey Deschanel looked sweet in her Reem Acra gown which almost looked like a prom dress. Meanwhile, January Jone's black Zac Posen gown was definitely out of the box. Kerry Washinton and Lucy Liu both sizzled in metallic gowns. Kerry was in a Vivienne Westwood gown while Lucy looked sexy in an Atelier Versace design.
