Chris Brown has officially opened up about his relationship with Rihanna and his break up with Karrueche Tran.
It should come as no surprise that Rihanna is ultimately the reason for the breakup between Brown and Tran, who had been together for nearly two years.
"I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna,” Chris Brown said, according to TMZ.
On Wednesday night, Brown and ex-love Rihanna were spotted hanging out for the third time this week.
They sat together in the VIP room at Jay-Z’s concert at the Barclays Center, with Brown putting his arm around the Barbadian singer, according to Rap Radar‘s Elliott Wilson, who snapped a photo of the two former lover.

“This is just the latest sighting of Rihanna and Chris Brown this week in New York,” Wilson wrote as a photo caption.
Brown admits to being in love with Tran, but he clearly has a place in his heart still for Rihanna.
“I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna."
"I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives,” Brown went on to say.
Wednesday night, while Rihanna and Chris Brown were together watching Jay-Z’s concert, Tran tweeted, "Bye baby” on her Twitter account.
