Tata Elxsi Launches incub@TE Program For Start-Ups, Aspiring Entrepreneurs

India's leading design firm Tata Elxsi on Thursday announced the launch of incub@TE, an incubation centre program to nurture and support upcoming entrepreneurs.

Tata Elxsi oversees the communications, consumer products, defence, healthcare, media and entertainment, semiconductor and transportation sectors. Its incub@TE program will help in the development of the next wave of product and service oriented technology start-ups in the areas of mobile, social, local, enterprise, cloud and embedded applications. The incub@TE centre will be set up in Bangalore.

Speaking at the launch of the program, Madhukar Dev, MD & CEO of Tata Elxsi said, "Tata Elxsi has been focused on technology and new product/service development and nurturing talent and innovation has always been our way of life. Tata Elxsi looks forward to working with aspiring, young entrepreneurs to help them realize their full potential, by providing infrastructure, expertise and support in access to key markets and funding."

Explaining the details of the program, Rajesh Kumar, Vice President, Strategic Initiatives of Tata Elxsi, said, "This platform will enable start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs to convert their innovative ideas into commercially viable products and services, It will also help entrepreneurs associated with the program gain better market visibility, acceptance and credibility."

The program also provides entrepreneurs ready-to-use infrastructure, key technical consulting through in-house experts, mentorship, access to service providers and connections with people and organizations.
