Tom Hooper's "Les Misérables," staring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway is poised to become the most succesful film version of Victor Hugo's 1862 novel. Set to debut on Christmas day, the film is the first screen adaptation of the musical version of the haunting drama.
