Oscars 2013: Beasts of the Southern Wild Star Quvenzhané Wallis Makes History with Best Actress Nomination [FULL LIST + VIDEO]

Beasts of the Southern Wild star Quvenzhané Wallis has made history after becoming the youngest ever nominee for the Best Actress Oscar.

The nine-year-old will go head-to- head with Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook ), Emmanuelle Riva (Amour) and Naomi Watts (The Impossible) for the coveted accolade.

Oscar 2013 Host Seth MacFarlane and actress Emma Stone were on hand to announce the nominations for the 85th Academy Awards at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre.

The duo revealed the stars up for gongs in the 24 categories. The winners will be revealed in Los Angeles on Feb. 24.
