Golden Globes 2013: Argo, Les Miserables and Homeland Big Winners [WINNERS LIST]

The 70th annual Golden Globes, hosted by actresses Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California.

Ben Affleck's Argo bagged the coveted awards for Best Picture - Drama and Best Director, while Les Miserables secured the Best Picture - Musical or Comedy award. Meanwhile, Homeland picked up the awards for Best Television Series - Drama, Best Actress for Claire Danes, and Best Actor for Damian Lewis.

"I want to thank my wife who is the reason why I'm standing here. I adore you. I love you so much. Thanks for sitting through this. You are my everything. Thank you," Affleck said during his acceptance speech.

He had previously won the Critics' Choice Movie Awards for the same categories, after being sensationally snubbed on the Oscars nomination list.
