David Cameron is addressing the House of Commons on the unfolding Algeria hostage crisis.

Cameron warned on Thursday of more bad news, after it was revealed that two Britons have been killed in the raid by Islamist terrorists on a remote BP gas station in the Algerian desert.

More Britons were taken captive, although Downing Street refused to provide more details.

A botched rescue bid was launched by Algerian forces without Britain knowing any details until it was uinderway.

Up to 30 more deaths resulted from subsequent fighting between armed militants and govenment forces, according to Reuters.

Cameron has called off his planned speech in Amsterdam to address the unfolding hostage crisis.
