Lone Star College Shooting: Shots Fired On LSC College Campus In North Harris County, Texas

Multiple news outlets are reporting a shooting at Lone Star Community College in North Harris County early Tuesday afternoon.

While there are unconfirmed reports of three people injured, at least one person has been taken by ground ambulance to Ben Taub Hospital.

Campus spokesperson Vicki Cassidy told a local ABC News affiliate that there is a shelter in place at the North Campus.

Aldine ISD has four campuses near Lone Star on lockdown. Dunn Elementary, Parker Intermediate and Nimitz 9th grade campus and Nimitz HS campus are all being secured. Their police chief is monitoring the situation.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office is on the scene, as well as other law enforcement agencies.
