A man is in serious condition after being stabbed multiple times outside his home in Wigan, Greater Manchester, by two men demanding the keys to his car.
The 59-year-old was attacked after leaving his home on Worcester Avenue, in the town of Hindley, at around 9:55am on 17 February.
The two men approached the man and stabbed him while demanding the keys to his white C220 Mercedes. The men then took off without taking the keys from the 59-year-old and "left him for dead".
The victim was taken to hospital and is described as being in a serious condition.
The two men are described as white, one was wearing a pale pink/red top with his face covered and the other wore a pale blue top with stripes down the sleeves.

Police are now appealing for any information regarding the incident.
Det Insp Graham Atherton from Wigan CID, said: "This was a horrendous attack on a defenceless man which has left him fighting for his life in hospital.
"These two men approached him on the doorstep and before they demanded his car keys they stabbed him multiple times and left him for dead.
"I am sure local residents will be shocked and angered by what has happened, but I want to try to reassure them that we have a team of experienced detectives working on the investigation and determined to find the men responsible.
"I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the attack or saw men matching these descriptions in the area to contact me as soon as possible, your information could be vital to our investigation."
