This year the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences nominated nine films for the coveted Best Picture award: Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln,” Ben Affleck’s “Argo,” Michael Haneke’s “Amour,” Benh Zeitlin’s “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained,” Ang Lee’s “Life of Pi,” David O. Russell’s “Silver Linings Playbook,” Kathryn Bigelow’s “Zero Dark Thirty” and Tom Hooper’s “Les Miserables.”
The 2013 Academy Awards ceremony is Sunday at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, and will be broadcast on ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET.
