While the whole of Britain was watching Andy Murray with bated breath, as he won the Wimbledon after 77 years of heart break, there was fair share of attention on his long time girlfriend, Kim Sears by the fashion police throughout the tournament.

For the final, Sears wore a green dress by Victoria Beckham, who was also present at the match. The 25-year-old was the cynosure of all eyes as she dazzled in the dress with her lucky £1,500 Mulberry Willow holdall bag and her beloved Aldo wedges, which she has recycled several times this year.

Sears has been Murray's lucky charm from back in 2006, when he first brought her to one of his tournaments - both were 18-years-old then. Sears is not a tennis professional but knows a thing or two about the sport; her father is Nigel Sears, the former coach of Slovakian Daniela Hantuchova.

Meanwhile, it has been touted by several numerologists that it is the mystical power of the number seven that was the reason behind Murray's victory.

"There is something quite magical about the number which is seen as special by cultures and religions around the world," numerologist Jackie Notman told The Sun.

Coincidentally, Murray was the first British men's champion for 77 years - doing it on the 7th day of the 7th month, according to Notman. He also added that Murray and Novak Djokovic were also born seven days apart in 1987.
