Sandro
Sandro is a reported target for Inter Milan.

Inter Milan have placed Tottenham's Sandro at the top of their January transfer wishlist as they look to to land the Brazilian with an offer of £6m.

The 24 year old made the move from Brazilian side Internacional to Spurs in 2010 and has since become an important member of the north London club's line up as they continue to target Champions League football.

But after Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir confirmed he is a new investor in the once great Inter Milan, the club are now targeting a return to Champions League football themselves and are set to spend big when the next transfer window rolls around.

Now the Metro are reporting that the Serie A outfit have placed Sandro at the top of their wishlist and hope that a fee of £6m will be enough to give Sandro the idea to push for a move.

Having to compete with Paulinho and Mousa Dembele for a starting spot has proven to be difficult for the Brazilian and with the 2014 World Cup in his home country rolling around he will be pushing for more regular appearances to prove himself to Luiz Felipe Scolari.

While Tottenham will be keen to keep hold of the combative midfielder should he insist on an exit Spurs may be faced with little choice.

Sandro suffered from a bad knee injury at the start of the year but in the summer Villas-Boas was confident that he had fully recovered and was ready to fight for his place once more.

"He's made an excellent recovery and we're very happy with him," the manager said in July.

The defensive midfielder has so far featured in four league matches for Tottenham but has only had one start this season in the side's most recent match up with Aston Villa.
