The Government’s policies are increasingly becoming anti-people and anti-poor. The rich and the corporates are enabled to corner and accumulate huge wealth at the cost of the general masses. Workers and trade unions have become the victims of the Government’s present economic policies.

Indian Bank said that if the strike materializes, a section of the Bank's employees may take part in the proposed strike on the said date, in which case, the normal functioning of the branches or offices of the Bank may get affected.
