Overview

Hosts Malaysia have had a brilliant tournament so far, winning all three games they have played and along with India are the only unbeaten team so far.

Malaysia who have scored 16 goals and conceded only five in the process, come into this clash on the back of a 7-2 thrashing of Japan on 23 October. Bronze medalists in all the three editions of the Asian Men's Champions Trophy in the past, the hosts will be eager to add more points to their tally and ensure that they end the group stage in top spot.

Their opponents, India, come into the game full of confidence after demolishing China 9-0 on 25 October. This result helped propel them above Malaysia to the top of the league table, though they have played one more game than the hosts.

Akashdeep Singh, Yousuf Affan and Jasjit Singh Kumar scored two goals each while Rupinder Pal Singh, Nikkin Thimmaiah and Lalit Upadhyay also got on the score sheet.

The Men In Blue have scored a whopping 25 goals so far and will look to continue their rich vein of form in front of goal. This clash might help determine who will top the table at the end of the group stage.
