Aston Villa take on Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park for the only game to be played in the Premier League on Sunday.

Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is set for 4pm BST. Live coverage is on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. Radio commentary will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live. Catch the highlights on Match of the Day 2 on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:25pm BST.

Overview

Paul Lambert's side come into this game after their goalless draw against Hull City in the last fixture before the international break. In the game prior to that, Villa beat Manchester City at home despite the Citizens taking lead from Yaya Toure's strike.

Leandro Bacuna and Andreas Weimann's goals in space of two minutes in the second half gave Villa victory as they came back from a goal down. Villa are 12th in the league table with 10 points from seven games and Lambert will be looking for another upset against Spurs.

Meanwhile, the north London side enter this fixture after a disappointing 3-0 defeat to West Ham United at White Hart Lane. Three second-half goals from Winston Reid, Ricardo Vaz Te and Ravel Morrison gave the Hammers victory.

Andre Villas-Boas will be desperate for victory after the West Ham game, with Spurs seventh in the Premier League table with 13 points from seven games.

What the Managers Say

Paul Lambert: "The objective is to go and try to win it and that won't change while we're here. We've got to try to win games no matter who is coming here. It's totally different to the cup game because they won't play the same team and neither will we. We've got a few lads back who we didn't have for that game."

Andre Villas-Boas: "It's a question of what serves the team and who's performing better. Whenever someone is doing well they deserve to keep their place. [Townsend] knows he has tough competition for his place. Not just from Lamela and Lennon but [Gylfi] Sigurdsson and Chadli. He will continue to deliver, that's what we want."
