India had a disappointing ODI series as they were on the brink of a whitewash, if not for Manish Pandey's maiden hundred that helped them win their first and only match in a five-match series. The visitors had a packed batting lineup, but their poor bowling display cost them several matches.

MS Dhoni will be hoping his side can bounce back in the shorter format of the game, especially with the T20 World Cup just over a month away. India will be hosting the upcoming T20 World Cup and they have included Yuvraj Singh and Ashish Nehra in the squad for the three-match series.

Australia have had an impressive ODI series and they will be looking to continue their form during the T20 series. Steven Smith will lead their side and with a new squad, he will have a task on his hands to guide the hosts to another series victory, just months before the World Cup.
