Tennis player Andy Murray's father-in-law has collapsed while he was watching a match at the Australian Open Tennis Championships. Nigel Sears, who coaches Ana Ivanović, was carried away on a stretcher after collapsing on the floor.

The causes of the collapse are not clear yet. Sears, 58, was taken to a hospital in Melbourne. The BBC reported he received medical assistance and was conscious following the incident.

Ivanović's third-round match against American Madison Keys was temporarily suspended following the incident and resumed after 50 minutes. Murray, apparently unaware of the incident, continued to play against João Sousa, Sky News reported.
