Avengers Age of Ultron: Watch New Extended Trailer That Released During Agents of Shield [VIDEO]

Marvel Studios initially planned to debut the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer on 28<sup>th October during Agents of Shield, Season 2 Episode 6.

But post a widespread leak of the trailer on 22<sup>nd October, the studio was compelled to release the official version much earlier. However, instead of the trailer, some more footage from the film might be unveiled during the upcoming episode of the Agents of Shield.

According to Marvel.com, "an exclusive piece" from Avengers 2 will be released during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on 28th October.

"Following this week's big debut of the trailer to Joss Whedon's much-anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron...Marvel Studios has revealed that this week's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will offer even more footage from the May 1, 2015 release! Then, on Tuesday, November 4, ABC will air the special "Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop!" and offer even more Avengers: Age of Ultron goodness. Look for both to air on ABC at 9:00pm ET/PT on October 28 and November 4, respectively."

It's currently unknown as to what this new footage might show. Maybe, the scene featuring Tony Stark waking up to see the Avengers scattered on a rock that looks like it's floating in space? – which was part of the Avengers 2 trailer shown at the 2014 Comic-Con.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2, Episode 6, titled A Fractured House, will air on Tuesday, October 28, at 9 pm EDT on ABC.

The episode's official synopsis reads:

"Things take a dangerous turn in 'A Fractured House'. HYDRA poses as S.H.I.E.L.D. and attacks the peacekeeping body United Nations. The mission is led by "an unexpected enemy" who aims at destroying S.H.I.E.L.D. and its members."
