Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid
Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid attend the Balmain x H&M collection launch in New York GETTY for H&M/ Dimitrios Kambouris

The wait is over and there are merely a few short hours before luxury label Balmain's collaborative collection with high-street store H&M becomes available to buy.

At 9am on 5 November, the doors of H&M will open and the "add to basket" function will be available online so you will need to be ready because whether you are in it for the beaded blazers and metallic stilettos or simply just to grab the already coveted white printed T-shirt, it is guaranteed that there will be a hundred others wanting to get their hand on it too. Here are the answers to any questions you might have about tomorrow:

WHAT TIME CAN I SHOP FROM?

Both online and in-store goes live at 9am.

WILL THERE BE QUEUES?

Oh yes. There are always queues for collaborations so be warned, you may want to get there much earlier than 9am in order to get a good spot.

IF I'M IN THE QUEUE WILL I DEFINITELY GET IN?

Nothing is guaranteed but H&M have a strict system to monitor shoppers and get as many into the store as possible. There will be 14 wristband colours with each group of 20 customers being assigned a different colour. This colour will let you know what time you will be allowed to shop in the restricted collection area.

HOW LONG CAN I SHOP FOR?

Once inside the Balmain x H&M area, you will only get 10 minutes to shop so be ready and know what you want.

CAN I BUY ANYTHING I WANT?

No. You can only purchase one of each item of womenswear, footwear and accessories from the collection. This is the same for online shoppers also. There will not be a queuing system to purchase menswear.*

CAN I RETURN BALMAIN X H&M?

Yes, but be hasty about it as you will only get three days to return any items bought in-store. If you are shopping online you will have the statutory 28 days to return for a full refund. Accessories are not returnable for hygiene reasons so shop carefully if you are not sure.

ANY TIPS FOR SUCCESS?

H&M states on its website that there is no queueing system for menswear (although this is subject to change) so if you are out to pick up a simple T-shirt or having no luck getting womenswear, it may be a good call to nip over the menswear area that has a great selection of blazers, coats and relaxed essentials to whet your Balmain appetite.
