Barcelona star Gerard Pique is convinced that Neymar and Marc Andre Ter Stegen will stay at the Nou Camp despite recurrent reports linking the duo with a big money move away from the Catalan giants. The former Manchester United defender, meanwhile, has also claimed that he is sure that Luis Enrique's side will win the La Liga title despite the disappointing defeat to Real Madrid at the weekend.

Neymar's agent added fuel to the speculations over the Brazilian's transfer saga after he told L'Equipe that the player could be tempted to move to Paris Saint Germain – while the Ligue 1 millionaires could meet his full €193m (£154.6m, $219m) release clause to clinch the deal.

But asked about it in the press conference ahead of the Champions League quarter final first leg against Atletico Madrid, Pique said: "Neymar is not moving from Barcelona, I am convinced. I know him and I know he is not going to leave."

Meanwhile, The Telegraph reported in late March that Ter Stegen is expected to move to Manchester City in the summer as Pep Guardiola's team to be are on the verge of beating Liverpool for his signature in a £20m deal.

Pique, however, is convinced that the German international will snub the Premier League giants to remain at Barcelona alongside Neymar.

"I am not going to say something risky about everybody (in the squad). I don't know but this is Barcelona. No-one wants to leave Barcelona. We are Barça and to be in this club is the most happiness a player can have," Pique said. "This club, this city, these fans, everything that we have... What more can we want? I am convinced that everyone will stay."

The former United star was also very optimistic about Barcelona's hopes to achieve the treble. Pique said that his side have already put the defeat in El Clasico behind them and will host Atletico Madrid full of confidence to take a step forward to the Champions League semi-final.

"What we really like are the challenges that are ahead of us. We have a great team and I am convinced we'll win the league. When you take the field and see who is on your team you have no doubt. We have a great challenge to win back-to-back trebles and we're going to go for it," the defender said.

"The game against Atletico is important. We want to play a good game in terms of our play and the result. I am convinced that we will see the Barça that comes to play on big nights and we want to show people why we've won everything and that we want to again."
