Barcelona face Atletico Madrid in the first leg quarter final fixture of the Champions League at Camp Nou on Tuesday evening.

Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is set for 7:45pm BST. Live coverage of the game will be available on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD.

Barcelona come into this midweek Champions League game after a narrow 1-0 win over Espanyol in the last league tie.

Lionel Messi converted from the spot kick, which helped the Catalan club seal three crucial points.

In the previous round of the European competition, Barcelona defeated Manchester City 4-1 on aggregate as the Spanish champions progressed to the last eight of the Champions League.

Gerardo Martino is aware of the threat possessed by Atletico and would be keen on making sure that his side keep a clean sheet.

Meanwhile, Atletico registered a 2-1 away victory over Athletic Bilbao last Saturday. Iker Muniain opened the scoring for Bilbao in the sixth minute of the game. However, Diego Costa equalised for Diego Simeone's side during the 22nd minute.

Koke's second half goal gave the Spanish capital club a lead as his strike was the difference between the two sides in the end. In the knockout stages of the Champions League, Atletico defeated AC Milan 3-0 on aggregate.

In the domestic competition, Atletico are on top of the La Liga table with 76 points from 31 games, while Barcelona are one point behind them in the second place. Real Madrid are third with 74 points.

What Manager Say

Gerardo Martino: "You can see [Atletico] are very strong. In the three games against them they have showed they are a very difficult opponent. The difference now is the stage of the competition. This is a Champions League quarterfinal."

Diego Simeone: "Of all the matches against Barça this season, this is the most complicated and difficult one. We're going up against the best Barça. It's the Champions League, and they will want to wrap up the tie here."
