Barcelona will be looking to return to winning ways when they face Deportivo La Coruna at the Nou Camp on Saturday, 12 December.

Where to watch

Kick-off is set for 3pm GMT. There is no live telecast of the game in the UK.

Overview

Barcelona's seven-match win streak in all competitions came to an end last weekend as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Valencia. The Catalan giants, whose lead over Atletico Madrid at the top of the La Liga table has been reduced to just two points, followed that up with another 1-1 draw against Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League in the midweek.

Luis Enrique will be without Neymar after the Brazilian suffered a groin injury during training before the Leverkusen match. Defender Jeremy Mathieu with a thigh injury and midfielder Sergi Roberto (ankle) are both doubtful to feature.

Sixth-placed Deportivo La Coruna are on a six-game unbeaten run and have suffered just two defeats in all competitions this season. The Galicians have lost six of their last eight head-to-head encounters with Barcelona, but secured a 2-2 draw in this corresponding fixture last season.

The away side are without injured trio Jonas Gutierrez, Celso Borges and goalkeeper Fabricio for the trip to Catalonia.

What managers say

Luis Enrique: "I felt positive about our performance [against Bayer Leverkusen]. I wanted to give the players who have played the most minutes a rest and I saw good signs from us against a team that really had to win. I am happy with the performance of the players from the B team who have featured. At times we were overrun by our opponents, but I leave happy."

Victor Sanchez: "It is one of the most difficult games of the season. [Barcelona's squad] is full of international players and, whoever plays, they are the favourites."
