Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 7pm BST. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 1 HD. Scroll down for the list of channels showing the game outside the UK.

Overview

Barcelona kicked off their pre-season by beating Scottish champions Celtic 3-1 in Dublin, with Arda Turan and Munir El Haddadi among the goals. The Catalan giants will face Liverpool at Wembley at the weekend before a Joan Gamper Trophy clash against Sampdoria at Camp Nou on 10 August.

Lionel Messi played 45 minutes of the match against Celtic and is expected to start alongside Luis Suarez in attack. New signings Andre Gomes, Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne have not travelled to Sweden and will not feature.

Leicester City began their pre-season by beating Celtic on penalties but were soon brought back down to earth as Paris Saint-Germain thrashed them 4-0 in the United States. The Barcelona match is the Foxes' final pre-season warm-up before their Community Shield curtain-raiser against Manchester United at Wembley on 7 August.

New Foxes signings Ahmed Musa and Nampalys Mendy are yet to play a full 90 minutes in pre-season and could both start at the Friends Arena.
