BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend is back for another year of great pop music. Ticketholders – 25,000 to be exact – will be flocking to Exeter, Devon in their droves to experience live music from the likes of Bastille, Jess Glynne, Ellie Goulding and The 1975.
Before you hop on your coach or train, make sure you have all the important information regarding the Big Weekend 2016's line-up, travel and weather with IBTimes UK's essential guide.
Time and dates
All the action kicks off on 28 May and will carry on with its second and final day on 29 May. Gates open at 11am and the event finishes at around 10pm each evening.
This year's Big Weekend is taking place at the Powderham Castle in Exeter for the first time, moving from its 2015 home in Norwich.
Organisers advise that the best way to get to the location is by train, with Starcross serving as the nearest station. There will be limited parking available on site but this must be pre-booked and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis only.
