Billie Piper has been involved in a car crash with a teenage cyclist, according to reports.

Piper was driving in King's Cross, London, last week, when her vehicle and a bike had an impact.

The 31 year-old was driving slowly at around five miles-per-hour when it happened.

Police were called to the scene. The 16-year-old boy cyclist was treated for a shoulder injury at University College Hospital.

Piper is currently appearing on stage at the National Theatre in Great Britain.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 15.53 to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a bike on York Way.

"We sent a responder by car and an ambulance crew to the scene. We treated a boy reported to be 16 years-old for a shoulder injury."
