Black Friday 2015 UK fashion deals
Black Friday is taking over both the UK high street and internet after the US post-Thanksgiving shopping frenzy was introduced in 2010 GETTY/ Rob Stouthard

America's largest shopping event, Black Friday, has crept into the UK steadily in the past few years. This year it is estimated that Britons will spend more than £1bn, making it the biggest shopping event of the year.

While last year's sales caused mayhem with the likes of Asda and Amazon slashing prices on electrical goods, Black Friday is not just the day to pick up cut-price TVs and speaker systems, but is also an opportune time to seize those luxury fashion, home and beauty items that will see a healthy price reduction.

If you are looking out for luxury accessories and high-end beauty, we will be updating you from now until Cyber Monday on 30 November on the best places to pick up the best discounts.

Net a Porter: the luxury online retailer is keeping very tight lipped about its festive sales, but the fact that its website crashed just hours into launching last year's Black Friday sale makes it seem highly likely that there will be bargains. Head to the site before 27 November to create your wishlist in time. With everything from Lanvin to Christian Louboutin potentially going on sale, it will be worth it.

House of Fraser: Currently teasing shoppers with its dedicated Black Friday page, House of Fraser is definitely participating in the enormous shopping event.
