British Airways is the latest airline to join the Black Friday sale extravaganza, after it launched a number of offers on flights and holidays on Thursday (24 November).

During the sale, which runs until midnight on Cyber Monday (28 November), passengers can save up to 49%, by booking two return flights in business class for a combined £2,016. However, the offer is only available on selected destinations, including New York, Boston, Washington, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Baltimore, Toronto, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat and passengers must travel outbound between 18 December 2016 and 15 June next year.

Passengers can also book European city breaks to Warsaw and Prague from £87 including return flights from London and two nights' accommodation, while prices for the same deal for Barcelona, Venice, Malaga, Alicante, Naples and Turin start from £99.

Return flights to Barcelona and a seven-day car hire start from £69, while the same deal for Algarve, Madrid and Malaga comes costs £99. Meanwhile, flights and seven-day car hire deals for Miami, Los Angeles and Cape Town cost £443, £550 and £699 respectively.

Business class flights to Europe start from £104, while a two-day city break in Europe including return flights from London in business class will set you back £269.

Other offers include savings of up to £500 per person on British Airways Holidays to the US and Canada, while return flights to selected destinations in North America start at £398 and return flights to a number of countries in the Middle East are available from £379.

Return flights to South Africa and South America start from £569 and £629 respectively, while British Airways' executive Club Members can save 20% when part paying with Avios during the promotion.

Finally, for those living in the US, British Airways is offering 1,500 hotel room nights to 1,000 passengers booking overnight flights from the US to London, on flights departing the US on 10 or 14 January 2017.
