He has been by Bobbi Kristina's bedside since she was found face down in a bathtub over two months ago, but Bobby Brown is now preparing to leave his comatose daughter to go on tour.

TMZ reports that the 46-year-old r'n'b star will go back on the road with Treach and Kay Gee of Naughty By Nature in May. Although he is scheduled to play three shows in Australia to make up for shows he cancelled back in March, he is said to be reluctant to go.

Bobbi Kristina has been on life support since her partner Nick Gordon found her unresponsive at her Georgia home on 31 January. The aspiring actress was recently moved from Georgia's Emory University Hospital to DeKalb Medical facility in Atlanta, which is said to be better for long term care.

According to reports, if Bobby had his way he would postpone again so he can be there for his 22-year-old daughter but promoters are holding him to his contractual obligation.

It had been previously reported that an optimistic Bobby was holding out hope that his daughter would make a full recovery and was refusing to remove her from the machines.

"This hasn't gotten any easier for him... It has gotten harder. He really thought she'd be better by now, that there would be some change. There hasn't been any sign of improvement since this happened," a source told the Inquisitr.

Earlier in April, People Magazine reported that Bobbi Kristina's feuding relatives had come to a mutual understanding following a disagreement about her future.

"It's quiet and peaceful," a family source told the magazine, adding: "The family has brought some things from home for her. Not much – just a few things, like a blanket and some pictures."

Although little is known about Bobbi Kristina's health, back in February a family friend revealed that she had suffered seizures when doctors attempted to revive her from her comatose state.

"This is a horrible setback. Everyone was hopeful that this was the sign that she'd turned the corner. We were so optimistic," the insider said at the time.

Her condition echoes her mother Whitney Houston's 2012 death in a bath in a Beverley Hills hotel. A coroner later concluded Houston's death was as a result of accidental drowning, though heart disease and cocaine use were contributing factors in her death.
