Millions of families in the UK will wrap up warm and head to one of the many firework displays happening across the country this week to celebrate Bonfire Night.

One of the best-attended spectacles is that held in Lewes, in Sussex, where historic bonfire societies dress up and parade through the streets with burning torches and carrying infamous effigies. Other show-stopping events are held in London, North Tyneside and Aberdeen.

But while a majority of sparkler-waving spectators will look to the skies at organised events such as these, Britons are expected to spend more than £350m on home displays.

IBTimes UK went to X-iting fireworks in north London to find out how much it will cost families to have their own DIY displays.
