Borussia Dortmund take on Bayer Leverkusen in the high-profile Bundesliga clash at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday.

Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is set for 5:30pm GMT. Live coverage of the game will be available on BT Sports 1.

Overview

Dortmund come into this game after their 2-0 win over 1 FC Saarbrccken away from home during the DFB Pokal fixture. Julian Schieber opened the scoring for Jurgen Klopp's side before Jonas Hofmann doubled the lead in the second half.

The Bundesliga giants will feature in the final fixture of the group stage in the Champions League as Dortmund take on Marseille next midweek. Klopp will be aware that with two big games (including Leverkusen fixture), a defeat in either could deliver a blow to their chances of making progress in the domestic and the European competition.

Meanwhile, Sami Hyypia's side registered a 2-1 win away from against SC Freiburg in the last DFB Pokal tie. Robbie Kruse opened the scoring for Leverkusen in the first minute of the game before Matthias Ginter equalised before half-hour mark.

However, Emre Can's second half goal was sufficient for Leverkusen to seal all three points. The victory has seen Hyypia's side sit second in the Bundesliga table with 34 points from 14 games while Dortmund are third, three points behind their weekend opponents.

What Managers Say

Jurgen Klopp: "Leverkusen have become result machines, incredibly strong. They are always dangerous at set-pieces. Both Leverkusen and we are struggling with injuries, but there will be no excuses. We want to win the game. Playing against Leverkusen in every season is an absolute highlight. Beating Leverkusen is always something special."

Sami Hyypia: "Freiburg played much, much better than us. Why shouldn't we be able to get something from the game? I'm delighted we didn't have to play extra-time before our important match against Dortmund."
