Looks like Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are considering a move to London. Latest reports suggest that the Mr and Mrs Smith stars have been looking at residential properties in UK.

A source told Us Weekly that Jolie "wants to slowly immerse herself in EU (European Union) politics" and hence the celebrity couple is looking to shift to London. According to the site, Pitt and Jolie toured a place worth $39m (about £25m), but they haven't produced the money to buy it.

"It's a huge investment," the source stated. "Neither of them wants to throw down that amount of cash."

The couple were also in London in late June so that Jolie could attend a luncheon as part of her work on UK foreign policy and her ongoing campaign to end sexual violence in war crimes. While there, the pair also had tea with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, a Kensington Palace spokesperson told US Weekly. "They discussed their shared interest in combatting the illegal wildlife trade."

However, fans of Jolie need not lose heart as the actress/director has no plans to give up her career in showbiz just as yet. The Maleficent actress is not in need of "a sudden career change" or anything, added the source. "She doesn't want to lose her directing momentum." Jolie's next directorial venture is the romantic drama – By The Sea – which features her paired opposite Pitt.
