Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers couldn't help but laugh when asked about Mario Balotelli's woeful finishing during the Red's thrilling 3-2 win against Queens Park Rangers at the weekend.

Balotelli, who is yet to score a Premier League goal since signing for Liverpool for £16m this summer, has been ridiculed for missing open goal from five yards in the match against QPR.

But Rodgers saw the funny side to his striker's toils in front of goal, saying that the important thing was that Balotelli was working hard and that it was only a matter of time before he finds the net.
