It was the Brit performance that many had waited 10 years for, so it came as no surprise that Beyoncé sent the audience into a frenzy when she took to the stage at London's O2 arena.

Unlike her raunchy Grammy performance, the Drunk in Love singer opted for a subdued performance for the awards ceremony when she belted out her new track, XO, to the packed venue.

Although her routine was understated, her green glittery, figure-hugging gown guaranteed that she still stole the show.

But while many fans hailed Queen B's performance as 'amazing' others said they were left somewhat underwhelmed.

Even Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw slammed the superstar's performance as 'boring'. The 29-year-old radio host, who presented the International Female Solo Artist Award to Lorde at the ceremony, remarked it felt like she had phoned in her performance. But not all viewers were dissappointed.
