They were recently crowned the winners of Britain's Got Talent 2014 and now Collabro have even more to celebrate.

The five-piece musical theatre group, who won over the hearts of the nation with their stand out performances, have signed a record deal with Simon Cowell's label Syco Music.

Collabro, who are already in the studio working on their debut album, describe the deal as an "absolute dream".

"Signing to Syco is the most incredible feeling," band member Jamie Lambert told the Sun. "We are so lucky and proud to join a family of amazing, talented artists and colleagues and we are thrilled to be working with Syco in order to take Collabro to the next level. This is an absolute dream for us, and it's only the beginning."

Cowell added that he was looking forward to working with the "worthy winners".

"I am delighted to welcome them to Syco, and am looking forward to them starting work on their debut album," the media mogul said.

Collabro, who also won £250,000 and the opportunity to perform for the Queen at this years' Royal Variety Performance, are expected to release their debut album on 14 July.
