Great Britain win team silver in the Equestrian after Tina Cook got a double clear in the last show jumping round to secure second place behind gold medal winners Germany. Germany scored 133.70 with an exquisite performance in Tuesday's jumping, ahead of Britain's 138.20 as New Zealand finished in third on 144.40.

Zara Phillips seen here has also won a silver medal in her debut Olympics after the British eventing team held onto second place in a tense final phase.

Nicola Wilson, Mary King, William Fox-Pitt make up the successful British quintet. The top competitors all ride again in the show-jumping and their score for that round is added to their overall total to determine the rankings.

Phillips said the last three days had been an "emotional rollercoaster" but hailed the thousands who had turned out to support the British team.
