The Diamond Juilee will be celebrated in spectacular fashion on Sunday 3 June when a pageant is held down the River Thames. The Royal British Navy prepared for the event on Wednesday 31 May by conducting manouvres on the river by Tower Bridge.

The vast flotilla of over 1,000 ships will proceede down the river from Battersea Park to Tower Bridge. Thousands of people will flock to the river to see the procession, with the Queen herself riding on board the luxury cruiser, 'Spirit of Chartwell'.
